LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Eva Longoria Parker is used to spending her life in the spotlight - she's notorious for her role in the hit show "Desperate Housewives" and her marriage to basketball star Tony Parker. She lives constantly with rumors of pregnancy and gossip sites discussing her weight. Recently, she talked with Glamour for their February Man Issue about the gossip she endures - which often, is as awful as something spread around Wisteria Lane.

Magazines and blogs have devoted countless pages to Eva's supposed weight gain, but the actress showed Glamour that her new curves are all for her job.

"I'm wearing a fat suit! " She told the mag showing the padding under her clothes, including large foam inserts stuffed in her bra. "It's suffocating. "

"Unfortunately, we live our life in public, so any weight gain or pimple is a national story. I don't get this obsession with weight. It's not only Hollywood; it's our society," Eva continued.

And Eva's extra curves don't mean an extra member for the Parker family either.

"I've been pregnant since last spring with triplets," she said with a laugh when asked if she's pregnant. "No, if I were pregnant [when the tabloids said I was], I'd have had the child many times over."

Eva, who has been married to Tony for a year and a half, said she looked for "intelligence, humor and passion" and not looks when it came to finding the right guy.

And as for the concept of soulmates and "happily ever after," Eva said she takes a more practical approach to her marriage.

"I believe in soulmates. It could be a lover, it could be a sister, it could be a best friend. It doesn't have to be romantic," Eva told the mag.

"I take it day by day," she said of her marriage. "Tony and I would love to be together forever. But the only way you get to forever is one day at a time."

What bothers me is that the writers of Wisteria Lane gave her a new role to play this season and it's not very believable.     I don't hate her & I wish I could ignore all the press she is getting. I wish she could read her press before it was printed. I followed some of this until the day that she and Mario both told a magazine that she was not pregnant, she was just FAT going from size "00" to a size "0". Heaven help her--someone intervene before this poor helpless
