Eva Longoria never seems to age as evidenced by her September cover of Lucky magazine. In the cover photo, she's sporting a white blazer, black top and gray metallic shorts. As beautiful as she is, she's also got a lot of brains. In addition to being a talented actress, she's currently going for her master's degree in Chicano studies and is an executive producer. In the accompanying interview with the magazine, she talks about how she shares clothes with best pal Victoria Beckham and says "Victoria is so funny! And I have such appreciation for her style." She also explains "I was born in platform heels. I actually always fall down when I'm wearing flip-flops." We can relate about the falling. Other than doing a new cover and interview with Lucky magazine, what else has she been up to lately?
Lunch date with the ex
The 37-year-old and her hunky ex, Eduardo Cruz, met up for lunch in Miami on August 2, but it's not what you think. While they shared their dishes and conversed a bit, a source says "They had little to no interaction at all with each other. The lunch was far from romantic." It also reportedly didn't last very long. Ouch.
Lay's potato chips appearance
The beauty teamed up with Lay's potato chips in support of their Lay's Do Us a Flavor contest where customers can submit their ideas for the next potato chip flavor in an effort to win some serious prize money. She made the appearance on July 22 at the opening of the Times Square Lay's pop-up shop. There's still time for you to get your suggestions in! The contest runs through October 6, 2012.
The ALMA awards are coming up on September 16 and the actress is one of the nominees. She's up for Favorite Movie Actress in a Drama/Adventure for her role as Tulita in "For Greater Glory: The True Story of Cristiada." She'll also be co-hosting the event along with comedian and actor, George Lopez.
Green dress debate
The former "Desperate Housewives" star recently stepped out in a green Vanessa Bruno wrap dress that had everyone talking. The loose-fitting halter dress was tied at the hip and we have to say we don't particularly love it. It looks more unkempt than comfortably loose and breezy. The frock should have been a bit more fitted at the top and flowy at the bottom.
Are you a fan of the dress?
