Ethan Hawke Weds Former Nanny

NEW YORK, NY -- Ethan Hawke wed former nanny Ryan Shawhughes late last month, according to a new report.

A source close to the actor told People that the couple, who obtained a marriage license in June, wed three weeks ago.

Last month, the NY Post reported that sources saw Hawke and Shawhughes, applying for a marriage license at the Municipal Building on Centre Street in New York City.

Shawhughes met Hawke when she worked as a nanny, looking after his children with Uma Thurman. The two reportedly began dating following the "Dead Poet Society" star's divorce from Thurman in 2004.

Shawhughes is currently pregnant with the couple's first child together.

    People think about Uma Thurman like a Goddess, she doesn't. I think that Ethan was tired to see Tarantino hanging around all the time. Ethan made a good decision. But he has let me down when married to Ryan. I think that he deserves a better woman than her. I like to think that he had no choice.

    He probably got busy w/the nanny in the hotel room while Uma was on a shoot and the kids were asleep and we're supposed to be say "ahhhh good for them, hope their happy" Big happy couple, couple of cheaters.

    I heard Hawke in an interview say he got tired of sitting in hotel rooms with the kids while Uma was on a shoot. Boo hoo hoo! How about taking the kids sight-seeing?! Can't afford it?! Yeah, at least with the nanny she can sit in hotel rooms with the kids if Hawke is ever on a shoot. She's used to it.
