LONDON, England -- Enrique Iglesias was not
experiencing friendly skies during a flight over the Atlantic on
Monday.
During a promotional tour in support of his greatest hits album,
the singer's plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Luton
Airport outside London, Britain's
Press Association reported.

The mid-air scare occurred when the pilot was reportedly forced
to shut down one of the jet's engines.
"The highly skilled pilots managed to make a safe landing and
nobody was hurt," a rep for Iglesias told People.

A rep for the singer's label also confirmed to People that no one was injured in the emergency landing.
