Dermot Mulroney has joined the cast of HBO's Enlightened, Deadline reports.
Enlightened stars Golden Globe winner Laura Dern as Amy, a self-destructive executive who tries to piece her life back together after suffering a public meltdown at work. Mulroney will recur as Jeff Flender, an investigative reporter who Amy hires. The two ultimately become involved romantically.
Enlightened's second season is slated to premiere in the fall.
