And the first Primetime Emmy Award went to. . . Modern Family!

For the second year in a row, Modern Family star Julie Bowen, 42, snagged the title of Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series, beating out fellow nominees Sofia Vergara, 40, Mayim Balik, 36, Merritt Wever, 31, Kristen Wiig, 39, and the late Kathryn Joosten.

"This is an embarrassment of riches," Bowen said in her acceptance speech. "I am just so lucky to work with a cast as lucky and as talented as we have. Sofia, I know you're younger than me, but I want to be you when I grow up."
