Emma Stone Officiates A Wedding: Other Celebs to Have that Honor

Emma Stone officiated a wedding this weekend.

Add Emma Stone to the list of celebrities that have had the honor of officiating a wedding. The stunning actress presided over the wedding of her publicist to Ruben Fleischer, the man who directed her in the hit film "Zombieland." According to sources, Emma was the one who helped get the newlyweds together in the first place. By all accounts, she did a wonderful job performing her all-important duty. Emma joins a surprisingly large group of celebrities that have officiated weddings. Here is a look at some of the most notable stars to have that honor.

    Jeff Probst

Jeff has plenty of hosting experience thanks to his long run on "Survivor," so it's not too hard to believe that he could run a wedding ceremony. The reality star did just that when he oversaw the nuptials between "The Office" star Jenna Fischer and screenwriter Lee Kirk in 2010. Jeff is a longtime friend of the actress, but he also brought some experience to the table. As an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church for many years, Jeff actually officiated several weddings before doing the honor for his pal.

    Jason Segel

The actor is a man of many talents, ranging from acting to puppeteering. After performing a wedding ceremony on "The Tonight Show" in 2010, Jason can add another job to his impressive resume. After a couple bumped into the star at a bar, they asked him to help them in the wedding process. "They turned out to be the nicest, most normal fun-loving couple ever," said the actor to Jay Leno, who served as the witness for the televised ceremony. Like Jeff, Jason is also ordained by the Universal Life Church.

    Kathy Griffin

The red-headed star did her biggest fans a major favor when she presided over their wedding in 2008. "The request came in and how could I say no?" said Kathy, who flew across the country to help the couple tie the knot in New York. "My assistant, Tiffany, applied for the certificate on my behalf and it took about five minutes," she said of the ordainment process. "But I love that this couple just want to have fun. They're my kind of people."
