Andrew allegedly dissed his fellow Brit by complaining about having to compete with Rob for movie roles - apparently "The Amazing Spider-Man" star thinks that he's a "serious" actor while Rob is "the equivalent of a cheesy boy bander." It would be hilarious to hear Andrew make this comparison while wearing his spandex superhero costume.
There's no definitive proof that the actors are involved in a feud over film roles, but there might be another reason that they're not on good terms - Emma Stone.
Once upon a time Rob and Andrew were described as good pals. In fact, they were photographed looking very friendly with one another at a Golden Globes after party in January of last year. Back then Rob was the bigger star of the two, hands-down.
But then Andrew met his Hollywood darling costar Emma on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man." Since superhero movies and the star of "The Help" have both been so hot in Hollywood, Andrew had to know that he hit the jackpot and was well on his way to becoming just as big as Rob - he even took a page from the "Twilight" actor by starting to date his costar.
Andrew was still with his girlfriend of three years, "Raising Hope" star Shannon Woodward, while he was working on "The Amazing Spider-Man," but he broke up with her last May. He and Emma became an item a few weeks later.
As it turns out, Shannon is good pals with Rob and Kristen Stewart - they were spotted hanging out with her on the set of Katy Perry's movie back in March (Katy is also a part of their clique). So perhaps Rob and Kristen upset Andrew by deciding to remain friends with Shannon - Robsten might have felt forced to choose a side because it's never easy to pull off being pals with both sides of a broken-up couple. Who wants all that drama in their life?
So now it will only be a matter of time before news breaks of an Emma vs. Kristen feud - they probably compete for many of the same movie roles, too.
Or maybe this whole Rob vs. Andrew feud is totally bogus. According to another report, late last month Rob, Kristen, Andrew, and Zac Efron all attended the wedding of their producer pal Kevin Turen. According to a wedding guest, "There was a little area where you could go and play music. Rob sang, Andrew played the bongos, Zac played the guitar. It was a whole spectacle!" It's kind of hard to imagine Rob and Andrew hating one another when they've been harmonizing together.
So what do you think - are Rob and Andrew really feuding?
