  Don't know how old David is - 62 is late to be a parent to a toddler - he'd be better off adopting the unadoptable, pre-teens or a teenager but that would be a lot more work because attitudes and behaviors are pretty firmly entrenched by that time. If the child will be left with nanny's and other caregivers when he's traveling, that wouldn't be good.
