Elizabeth Olsen Denies '50 Shades' Casting

It seems every young actress in the biz has her name in the running for the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, but, alas, Elizabeth Olsen isn't one of them.

"No! No! No!" was her response when asked by Bullett magazine if there was even the remote "possibility" she would end up playing Anastasia somewhere down the line.

While some might read a bit of underlying criticism of E.L. James' steamy series in the vehement denial of the casting rumor, Olsen is careful to acknowledge the cultural significance of the erotic trilogy.

"It's had a huge impact on society. Apparently rope sales have skyrocketed because women who've read the book are really getting into bondage, which is kind of great," she said. "It's such a taboo for women to actually discuss sexuality without the help of Cosmopolitan. All of a sudden, this book has become a sensation because the women reading it haven't had access to this kind of thing before. I was talking to a guy who was making a joke about it, saying, 'Clearly these women just need to watch porn.' In a way, he's right."

Emma Watson recently denied that her name was in the mix for the highly anticipated film, but Kristen Stewart, Amanda Seyfried, Nina Dobrev and Lucy Hale remain some of the hot names bandied about.
