The star made a major improvement, recovering from her Met Gala slip-up the very next day on the red carpet for ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’

While most stars would probably play it safe after a red carpet misstep, that wasn’t the case for Elizabeth Banks! While her very busy gown at the Met Ball on May 7 wasn’t well received, that didn’t stop the star from walking the red carpet for her latest film in another printed dress — but this time, the reaction was way different!

While her Met Ball dress had too many competing prints, the silhouette also did nothing for her fantastic figure — it was totally taking away from her beauty! Mixing prints is definitely on trend, but when you’re working with more than two prints you are definitely entering a danger zone.

For the premiere, her Peter Pilotto Fall 2012 frock was most improved. The sleek, sexy silhouette enhanced her figure and didn’t take away from her frame, while the print was feminine and pretty — it wasn’t too busy at all! She completed the ensemble with Walter Steiger peep-toes.

Personally, I’m so happy to see Elizabeth recover and I’m glad that her blunder didn’t stop her from embracing fashion-forward styles. It’s also so refreshing to see that even some of our favorite stars make mistakes!

If you’re trying to work pretty spring prints, definitely take a note from Elizabeth’s major hit on the red carpet last night.
