LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 28, 2007) - Eddie Murphy is engaged.
The star of such films as "Norbit" and "Dreamgirls" proposed to his girlfriend Tracey Edmonds according to OK! magazine.

Murphy began dating Edmonds, the ex-wife of music producer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, ten months ago, following a relationship with Spice Girl Mel B, with whom he fathered a baby girl.

OK! Reports that Murphy proposed to Tracey with a Cartier yellow diamond ring weighing around 8 carats.

The couple will reportedly say their "I do's" before year's end.
Murphy's divorce with Nicole Mitchell, the mother of five of his children, was made final in April 2006.

pretty 1I think that Eddie Murphey is one of the last real commedians left however, I was DISGUSTED with the TASTELESS movie, NORBIT. As for Tracey, I don't know what happened b/t her and her ex-husband but she really could do much better. ShawyaI use to have so much respect for Eddie Murphy and his work as an actor but have lost all respect on a personal level. Eddie spend more time and be a father to your children instead of having them with all these women and leaving them as single moms. You are setting a very poor example to your children.
