After several weeks of less-than-stellar scores, Ty Murray was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars Tuesday.

The bull rider, 39, and his dance partner, Chelsie Hightower, came into the semifinal results show in last place -- with 48 points out of 60.

See hilarious DWTS rehearsal photos.

Still, he tells Usmagazine.com that he's ready to move on.

"I'm not going to lie, I'm tired of learning dances! I'm so glad I don't have to learn two more this week, I really am," he tells Us. "But if America had kept us on, that would be motivation. I could have bared down one more week. But I don't have a dancer's bone in my body.

He also admits that the final celebrity dancers remaining -- actor Gilles Marini, The Bachelor's Melissa Rycroft and Olympian Shawn Johnson -- deserve to continue on.

See what your favorite past DWTS contestants are up to now.

"At this point, the three couples that are left, they're such good dancers -- it was time for me to get out of the way and let them have their dancing competition!"

The nine-time world champion rodeo cowboy -- who joined the hit show with wife Jewel before she was sidelined by an injury before the competition began -- plans to enjoy his time off the show.

"Me and Jewel will take a vacation, but I've got to get back to the ranch first and get some work done!" Murray says. "I've got to take care of some stuff, but after it's all said and done we'll take a vacation."

Check out the crazy fashions on DWTS.

As for Hightower, she says she was so glad to be paired with Murray.

"Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better celebrity," the pro-dancer tells Us. "He's so fun to work with, such a great guy, no diva-ness -- which is a big thing for me. He's very down to earth, and to come as far as what he did is remarkable."

Will she help Murray on his farm?

Murray jokes: "She's as much a ranch girl as I am a dancer!"

even though ty wasn't the best dancer, I still think he should be there. he's so fun to watch and the rehearsals were hilarious. I agree with Sunshine, Ty is what this show is about. Too bad he has to go home. =(

I really felt bad when he left. He did try as best he could and he is tops in my mind in the PBR. He does have a beautiful wife who has a beautiful voice. He looked so shy in the beginning however, he was coming out of his shell. You go Ty!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to say that I think Ty Murray is a real trouper and that he also lends class to this season's Dancing With The Stars. He was truly out of his comfort zone, but, by gosh, he lassoed a lot of moves with grace and style....REAL Cowboy Up!

Ty is what the show is about. All three left have some kind of dance/performer background including Giles who admitted it. The judges were purposely giving Ty low scores (according to one of them admitting it) because they knew America loved him, so they had to make it harder.

It really was time for Ty to go, should have been gone weeks ago,but that is what happens when you let the public get involved. They never vote for the right reason.

He should have been gone weeks ago!! He is a stiff board. Also the wise crack from his jealous b*tch of a wife Jewel when Melissa got hurt was uncalled for, about she should quit if she is hurt and can't be judged only on taped practice, Well FYI Jewel she wasn't the only one Judged like that so was Stevo when he was hurt, so You did not open ur mouth then? So I say to Je

Ty was entertaining and I give him a ton of credit for sticking with it because the fans kept him in but he still should have been shown the door instead of Lil Kim. At this point it really doesn't matter who wins because they're all good, it's tough to pick. Of the three left standing, the only pro who hasn't won is Tony so I'd like to see Melissa win for h
