Naturally, Married with Children alum Ted McGinley is sad he was eliminated Wednesday from Dancing With the Stars.

But he feels worse for his professional partner, Inna Brayer.

"She's so phenomenal and such an amazing dancer, and I hate to think I took anything away from her," he told Usmagazine.com after his ousting. "I was proud of myself for just getting off the couch and trying."

See what the new Dancing With the Stars cast looked like before they hit the dance floor.

McGinley and Brayer received a score of 19 out of 30 from the judges Tuesday following their mambo routine. (Combined with viewer votes, they had the third-lowest score.)

"It's not about the result," McGinley told Us. "It's about the 'doing.' And the 'doing' is the win.

"You've got to get up, get in, get off that couch and say, 'I want to take a chance,'" he adds.

Still, McGinley admitted, "I'm never going to be a great dancer."

Comedian Jeffery Ross and partner Edyta Sliwinska were the first to be eliminated from the new season. See what they had to say about going home.

Tell Us: Who do the think the show's front-runner is?

Ted McGinley had AWESOME potential! I was very sad to see him go . . . and to see him so emotional strengthened my belief that he is sincerely a good person and should've been given a chance to continue. If anyone needs to go it's Cloris Leachman! I thought it was great at first that she was going to be on the show, until I saw her behavior. I was disappointed. She'

I'm just watching it till Cloris is eliminated, but hopefully she wins. She is the only one who has any real talent. I LOVE HER!

McGinley was robbed, they need to address how the scoring works on the show as it is unfair for someone who has a chance to improve and compete to be booted while an old disruptive hag remains on. That said, to me the front runner is brooke for the women and cody for the men.

whoever is voting for Cloris is doing the rest of the dancers an injustice..Ted did not deserve to go yet...I am all for seniors being active, but she needs to pick something else.. she just looks silly and embarassing..I hope my mom is 79 and she plays sports, but with others in her age group..
