Rocco DiSpirito tells Usmagazine.com he wasn't surprised he was kicked off Tuesday's Dancing With the Stars.

"We had a good feeling," says the chef, who received the judges' lowest score - 18 out of 30 - for his samba routine with partner Karina Smirnoff. "Obviously, we knew our scores were the lowest. We knew we were out last week. It wasnt subtle, let's just say."

Still, he adds, "You always hope that somehow a miracle happens, but I told myself that if I was out this week, it was still a great time."

He joked that Smirnoff went though a lot of his trying "to learn how to dance. No human being should go through that!"

Was Smirnoff miffed when judge Bruno Tonioli said DiSpirito didn't have a musical bone in his body?

"I think he was giving us the heads up that it was going to be us today," she said. "That was his way of saying, 'Be ready!' Bruno is not a mean guy. He speaks his mind and that's what his job is.

"There is nothing unfair or fair about this competition," DiSpirito added. "This whole thing is a gift so to look at it as fair or unfair is not the right perspective."

DiSpirito said he'll miss "the opportunity to learn how to dance from one of the world's greatest dancers [Smirnoff]. Maybe she will take pity on me and visit me in New York one day and try to teach me another step or two!"

The biggest lesson he's taking from the show?

Joked DiSpirito, "I learned that I should stick to cooking!"

The celebs. do this for fun and the experience of it all. So what if he didn't excell at it. He smiled and truly looked like he was enjoying himself. To take it too serious would be stupid.
