    Duggar Family Member Speaks Out on Extortion Plot

    Amy Duggar from the show 19 Kids and Counting is setting the record straight after being targeted by a woman in Iowa who claimed to have compromising photos of Amy as part of an attempt to extort money from TLC.

    Federal court documents show that Teresa Hunt was arrested Feb. 1 after she apparently sent TLC executives letters demanding that they cancel 19 Kids and Counting or pay her $10,000 in exchange for her not releasing to a magazine photos of Amy and a 56-year-old musician that were described as depicting "apparently intimate situations."

    Amy, an aspiring country singer and the 25-year-old niece of Jim Bob Duggar, told ET in a statement that there are no compromising photos of her with the musician, whom she has known for quite some time as a friend. "It's totally untrue. He is a longtime family friend who has always been supportive of my music career.  He's a good Christian and it's upsetting that his generosity has been exploited like this."

      The Duggar Family publicist has done a good job of covering it up, but the photos are on line under about 1000 layers of page rank.

      Google and Reputation Defender make it easy for rich people to cover up the truth. The photos will come up under a search for Duggar photos on about page 5000.

      Is it surprising that a member of a family who took PHOTOS OF a DEAD BABY AND SHOWED THEM AROUND ON TV, would also have other weird stuff going on?

      I am happy for the Duggars, I could not have children an God has blessed them with a very loving family an Im sure God has a job for each an every one of them. USA this is none of our bussiness until they start asking us for money an help to support them......GOD BLESS EACH AN EVERYONE OF THE DUGGAR FAMILY.............

      Wow its really sad what ppl will do for money, the Duggers come off as respectable, loveing, and a careing famliy. I wish ppl would let them be I tell you the devil comes in all different ways. I feel as though the press feeds off of misery and if it seems as though wonderful ppl are living a nice and peaceful life that live a life without causeing problems then others try to disrupt that cause they are enveiss, I call those type of ppl Haters! God bless the Duggers for sticking together and getting through there troubles and struggles together.

      Cancel the show or pay $10,000? Is she serious, I would be willing to bet TLC would lose more than $10,000 if they cancelled the show. They should really check the mentality of one Teresa Hunt, sounds like she has the brains of a 10 year old. She could find herself on TruTV's show Dumbest Criminals.

      Jim Bob Duggar used to be in politics and now he is in the Real Estate Business, They have several business' that they all work together, they do not depend on assistance and they have quite a little thing going, but I agree they arent responsible for every member of their extended family and futhermore.. ADUltS can do whatever they want with Whoever~~ nobody's business!!

      The woman should be fined 10,000 and spend atleast 9 months in jail
      as well as make a live confession that she lied. As for "Comprimising photos, if she does have any they are likely photoshopped

      Let me get this straight. This idiot, was trying to extort money from a 25 year old ADULT, for doing something perfectly legal with another adult? Just because the family is religious, does not make it wrong, or illegal for a family member to break family rules! I'm not saying this girl did anything more than hold this guys hand, but what idiot would consider extorting money from a popular TV show because they have pictures of 'cast members' doing nothing wrong?

      I am glad the crazt woman got arrested. Blackmail, extortion, etc is all illegal and people should be punished for it. Good for her for mot buying into it too.
