Duchess Catherine and Price William are on the Diamond Jubilee Tour of the Far East and on their recent stop in Singapore, Catherine has been sporting some fantastic frocks as usual. It's no surprise she has so many drooling over her wardrobe considering she's one of the biggest style icons in the world and obviously knows what she's doing in the fashion department. The term "The Duchess Effect" has even been coined for the effect the beauty has had on sales whenever she steps out in one of her outfits. So where in Singapore has she been donning some of her noteworthy fashions?
The Royal couple attended a state dinner at The Istana on September 11 and Kate wore a much different style frock than we're used to seeing her in. Usually in neutral and pastel ensembles, she stepped out in a white long-sleeve Prabal Gurung dress that had a bright purple floral print on it. Her hair was down for the event and she finished her look with a black clutch and black pumps. In his excitement, the designer tweeted all day about her wearing the dress, including a tweet that said " So xctd that I just stopped some strangers on the street n showed them the pic of Kate Middleton in our dress."
Singapore Botanic Gardens
On September 11, the husband and wife team stopped by the Singapore Botanic Gardens where the 30-year-old wore a pale pink long-sleeve Jenny Packham dress that had hand-painted white orchids on it from top-to-bottom. The bodice was inspired by the kimono. While they were at the garden, they viewed a new orchid - the Vanda William Catherine - that was named in their honor and also saw a flower that was named after Princess Diana. The Princess unfortunately never got to see the plant before her passing.
Gardens by the Bay
On September 12, the Royals visited the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore where the Duchess wore a fabulous white Alexander McQueen number that consisted of a skirt and a matching belted short sleeve top. She paired the look with navy blue Stuart Weitzman wedge heels and a matching clutch. The couple planted a sapling during their visit.
Rainbow Centre in Queensland
While stopping by the Rainbow Centre in Queensland, Singapore, Catherine wore a Raoul matching blouse and skirt that had a red and black polka dot print on it and a black waistband. She finished her look with one of her favorite pairs of shoes - her nude LK Bennett pumps. In this case, her black pumps would have looked better, but we still love the overall look of the ensemble.
Which of Duchess Catherine's outfits is your favorite?
