Drew Barrymore: "I'm Very Close" With My Exes

Drew Barrymore stays close with all her exes.

"People are always like 'Is it awkward?' I'm like, 'No: because if you can't be with somebody, it doesn't mean that the love has to go away -- it just transfers to something different that works at that point in your life,'" she tells Ellen DeGeneres in an interview that airs today.

"I'm really close with some of the people I've been with in my life because they've had such an impact on it that I don't want them to go away, you know," she adds.

Do you think these stars look better after breakup?

She calls ex Justin Long -- her He's Just Not That Into You (out Feb. 6) co-star -- a "really, really good friend.

"We hang out all the time and people are like 'Are you getting back together?' And, we're like, 'No we're just friends.' He's just the sweetest guy."

She's also considering working on a project with former flame Fabrizio Moretti.

"My ex-boyfriend Fabio , [whom] I was with for five years -- he's the drummer for The Strokes -- and I was just showing him my new movie, and we're talking about doing a song together. I mean that's just the way -- if you're fortunate enough -- that life can be, and it's so harmonious," she says.

    using the word 'like' is a habit...i have it too....i can use the word 'like' 3 times in a short sentence....my friends get annoyed but they're used to it now...i dunno i cant reeli control it...it just comes out in my sentences lol...oh well btw,she usually uses a lot of big words lol...i always have to use the dictionary while watchin her interviews... :D
