News of the bar brawl between Chris Brown and Drake’s camps has been inescapable since it occurred last week. Theories about the causes and guilty parties have run rampant, but now one participant has finally begun talking.
Meek Mill, a rapper and member of Drake’s posse, spoke with XXL Magazine and spoke candidly about the fight. Meek said, ““Chris and Drake, them two was there but its other people that be around that take sh*t to the next level.”
The 25-year-old rapper continued, “Things just happen in the club. I seen girls in there throwing bottles, all types of sh*t. All types of people. I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle and I was there.”
When the magazine asked Meek if he threw anything himself, he said, flatly, “F**k no.”
Regarding the rumors swirling that the fight broke out after Meek had some rather insulting things to say to Chris about his girlfriend Karrueche Tran, Meek said, “What [Brown] tweeted was just that me and Meek Mill ain’t got no problem.”
“I talked to him immediately after that, on the phone afterwards, like immediately, like, ‘There’s nothing there, this-that-and-the-third.’…Things get out of hand that don’t mean it’s out of hand with me and him or whoever, not even him and Drake,” he concluded.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do YOU believe that the alleged issues between Meek, Drake, and Chris are being blown out of proportion?
