DJ AM's death has been ruled an accident due to substance abuse, the New York Medical Examiner has confirmed to Usmagazine.com.

A spokesperson for the M.E. tells Us the cause of death is "acute intoxication" due to the combined effects of cocaine, oxycodone (painkiller Oxycontin), hydrocodone (Vicodin), Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl and Levamisole (a drug dealers cut cocaine with).

"Our investigation is completed," spokesperson Ellen Borakove tells Us.

The Associated Press reported that DJ AM (real name: Adam Goldstein) had six Oxycontin pills in his stomach and one undigested in his throat when he was found dead in his New York City apartment at age 36 in August. A crack pipe was also discovered nearby.

    That is not an accident, that sounds more intentional to me. No one would take that many kinds of drugs at once and not think it was going to kill them.
