Did Taylor Swift Have the Worst Night at the Golden Globes?

Poor Taylor Swift had probably planned on One Direction singer Harry Styles being her Golden Globes date, but she had to go a different direction when all the Haylor hanky-panky came to an abrupt halt early last week.

So instead she walked the red carpet alone, wearing a dark purple dress that reflected her dark night. Somehow the gown managed to look sexy and somber at the same time.

The dress would have been considered a success by most if it weren't for the wee wardrobe malfunction that T-Swift suffered while walking the red carpet -- the top of the dress didn't fit quite right, so her bra was visible from the side. However, that was the least of woes at the Golden Globes.

Swifty's taste for teenaged suitors like Harry Styles and Conor Kennedy was mocked by host Tina Fey when she quipped, "You know what Taylor Swift, you stay away from Michael J Fox's son." However, co-host Amy Poehler advised Taylor to "go for it." Tina then argued, "No, she needs some 'me' time to learn about herself." The camera never cut to Taylor to capture her reaction, so she was probably sporting a facial expression that was even worse than the one she couldn't hide when she failed to win an award.

Taylor was later criticized for being a sore loser because she made a sour face when Adele defeated her in the Best Original Song category -- Swifty's "Safe and Sound" was squashed by Adele's "Skyfall." Twitter users were quick to attack Swift's scornful countenance, and Yahoo! writer Jason Sickles joked that Taylor needs to learn to mimic McKayla Maroney's "Not Impressed" face.

Perhaps Taylor only knows who to fake a surprised face. During a funny bit with Will Ferrell, comedienne Kristen Wiig mocked the mock shocked look that Taylor sports whenever she wins an award. At least one star didn't enjoy a laugh at Taylor's expense -- grumpy Tommy Lee Jones was definitely not impressed with Kristen's impression, and he looked like the only attendee at the Golden Globes who was having a worse time than Taylor.

Hopefully Taylor tried to cheer herself up by flirting with a newly-single Bradley Cooper at one of the after parties -- maybe it's time she traded her floppy-haired boys for a floppy-haired man.
