It looks like Robert Pattinson may have taken Kristen Stewart back.
Months after he walked out on her for cheating on him with director Rupert Sanders, the "Twilight" couple may have reconciled.
According to an insider, "Rob sees it as Kristen made a really stupid mistake. After a lot of long tearful talks, they've worked it out. Rob can see how truly sorry Kristen is and has totally forgiven her. They really do love each other."
Has Rob really forgiven Kristen? Or is the couple obligated to put up a unified front in order to promote the upcoming final "Twilight" film "Breaking Dawn--Part 2"?
Who else has extended the olive branch of forgiveness lately?
Jennifer is ready to forgive William Balfour, the man who was convicted for murdering her mother, brother, and nephew. But she's not willing to forgive the act.
As she tells Oprah Winfrey, "I feel like, for the most part, it's not his fault. It's what he was taught. How he was brought up. We tried to offer love, but he was so far gone, he couldn't even see that. A lot of things came out [during the trial] that we didn't even know about from his upbringing. . . He never had a chance. He never had a chance. Had he had the love that my mother gave us, or the background that some have, then he would have stood a chance. How could your heart not go out to that?"
Last month, in an interview with Oprah, Rihanna revealed that she had forgiven Chris Brown, the man who was arrested for physically assaulting her in 2009, and that she never stopped loving him.
As she explains, "I think he was the love of my life," Rihanna added. "He was my first love and I see that he loved me the same way. I truly love him. The main thing for me is he's at peace. I'm not at peace if he's not happy or he's still lonely. I care. It actually matters that he finds that peace."
In order to forgive Chris, she had to learn to forgive her father for abusing her mother. "All kinds of emotions started happening after that...I have to forgive him, because I cared about him still. And the minute I let go of that, I started living again."
Elton John found himself in hot water after referring to her as a "fairground stripper." Yet last month, Madonna extended what appeared to be a (somewhat backhanded) peace offering.
At a concert in Nice, France, while performing her song "Masterpiece," Madonna announced, "I know he's a big fan of [' Masterpiece']. And I know he's a big fan of mine. And you know? I forgive him. Gotta start somewhere."
