Denise Richards' Explosive New Claims Against Charlie Sheen

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (September 19, 2007) - In papers filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Denise Richards levels some explosive accusations against ex-husband Charlie Sheen.

In the papers obtained by Access Hollywood, Richards is asking the court to terminate Sheen's overnight privileges with the couple's two daughters (ages 2 and 3).

The filings are filled with explosive accusations against Sheen, with Richards claiming her ex-husband still exhibits "inappropriate behavior... and conduct," including "his attraction to underage women and his sexual explicitness on the Internet, including revealing his private parts."

Sheen released the following statement to Access Hollywood on Wednesday:

"Clearly the mother of my children has no interest in responsible co-parenting when it comes to my relationship with our girls. She behaves as though she OWNS our children. She does not. A day of legal reckoning for her is fast approaching. The truth will prevail. It always does."

In addition, Sheen's lawyer Lance Spiegel told Access, "Virtually all of these allegations were previously raised and were denied by Mr. Sheen. The parties have been operating under a existing custody agreement for more than a year, and during that period of time there was no attempt to resurrect any these allegations until Mr. Sheen requested the right to select his own child care provider."

Meanwhile, Richards' lawyer Neal Hersh released the following statement to Access Hollywood, on Wednesday evening:

"Denise's interest has always been and remains the welfare and best interest of her children. Her filing today is consistent with this position. It was Denise's hope that the issues between she and Charlie regarding their children could have been resolved between them. However, unfortunately, this was not able to be achieved.

"There are serious issues upon which the parties disagree," the statement continued. "As seen by Denise's filing, she believes that Charlie has significant personal issues which he has failed to address and which require her to take action to protect her children. This is not a vindictive action. Any responsible parent in Denise's shoes would go to the ends of the earth to protect her children. Charlie's failure to recognize, let alone deal with his problems, has left Denise no other alternative but to seek the assistance of the Court to obtain orders to protect her children."

When it comes to Sheen's new fiance, Brooke Mueller, Richards also takes exception to the way the two handled their engagement, claiming the first the children heard of the father's plans to marry another woman came on a TV interview.

In the filing, Richards claims Sheen and Mueller told her they "did it for the press... he wanted to get the cover of People and Us magazine."

Richards also quoted alleged e-mails from Mueller where Sheen's new fiance appears to apologize for Sheen's tirades against Richards.

"I truly believe he is acting like this...because he is upset about the engagement...Please don't take anything he said personally. He's just hurt and reacting with anger," the alleged e-mail states.

The filing also includes a declaration from Richards' nanny Diana Alvarez, which also fires off some sordid claims against Sheen.

In her declaration, Alvarez claims she has witnessed Sheen hit the family dogs, and also claims the couple's daughter Sam has told her Sheen has threatened to hit her.

Alvarez also alleges Sheen "yells... and routinely curses" in front of the children, and even goes as far as to claim Sheen "completely ignores" the youngest daughter Lola.

A then-pregnant Richards filed for divorce in March 2005. The couple's divorce was finalized in November 2006.

Richards also alleges her children don't enjoy their time with their father and don't want to spend the night at his house.
