Denise: 'If I Wanted Anybody's Sperm, I'd Have Asked For Richie's'

NEW YORK, New York -- Denise Richards & Charlie Sheen's marriage may have ended in 2006, but the animosity continues to rage on.

During an appearance on NBC's "Today" show on Tuesday, Denise lashed out at her ex-husband over an e-mail that Charlie claims Denise sent then-girlfriend and now-fiancee Brooke Mueller alleging she asked him for a sperm donation after their split.

"That e-mail is not legitimate," Denise told Matt Lauer. "It's a doctored e-mail. I would never send an e-mail to his … girlfriend, and, at the time of that e-mail, I was with Richie [Sambora]. If I wanted anybody's sperm, I'd have asked for Richie's."

Denise goes to say that at the time of the purported e-mail, she was coping with her ailing mother, and a pregnancy was not something she was considering "especially with my ex-husband," Denise said.

Charlie lashed back, releasing a statement to the ''Today" show calling Denise's claim's "absurd."

"The mere fact the she continues to publicly discuss and harass both Brooke and me three years after our separation which, for the record is longer than the actual length of the marriage, is beyond desperate and speaks volumes," Charlie said in the statement.

Not stopping with just harsh words, Charlie challenged Denise to take the issue to court.

"I will no longer sit back and be egregiously painted as a liar. If any proof can be established that these are not in fact her words and statements verbatim, I openly invite her and would even encourage Ms. Richards to sue me in a court of law," he added.

Denise's show has really changed my opinion of her. Regardless of how shows portray people, I honestly feel she is not crazy as I once thought her to be. She is a nice person.

It is typical for an abusive man to gain a little bit of cocky confidence when they finally hook up with another woman. But in time, their true colors always show.

Denise: Hire an intelligent asst. than the dummy you have now. One who is knowledgable about your needs & capable to bring the desired results. Perhaps another woman who identifies with your 2 darling babies. Kids need both parents & it's a shame they lost one exc on the weekends may be - but foucs on their happiness b4 your own. Denise: Saw your reality show. Sorry about your mom. Your dad is super. Nothing complicated except you are a pretty farm girl with love for animals - still wanting to hobnob w "hunks with black hair & big d---" your own words. You picked the son of a celebrity actor who is also an actor -Things often go astray in a marriage due to the "confusion of expectations

Looks like Charlie is moving on with his life in a positive way. Denise is making her family life public which make her look like a dirt bad. I used to like her and the more she talks the sicker she makes me.

Two selfish and self indulgent people. How sad that even for the sake of their children they can not get along and keep the media out of their lives.

I don't understand why everyone keeps saying she's such a bad mom for putting her kids on a reality show. There are plenty of reality shows that have all kinds of celebrities parading there kids on it(Keeping up with the Kardishans, Run's House,The Osbourns, etc) but she's a horrible mom for having her kids on the show, its part of her reality. Would anyone say the s

Denise: (7) It is one issue of searching for sperm for the mini pig, it is another to make comments about that for yourself. You made the statement, others will only make the secondary conclusive connection! If you really neeed "some" you will just have to come to get it. But, I am not sure who (me) would volunteer it, sell it, or have it extracted in the normal manner. C

Denise: (6) Anybody can truly read your facial and hand non-verbal reactions/emotions. Land's sake woman!, get out of the princess and black hair lothario (with a big ----) mentality. Most princesses end up the grumpy, frustrated, wrinkled old witch hags in the fairy tales. Quit playing the innocent hurt victim, then acting the bombastic KMA princess. Flips flops are bipolar.

Denise: (5) What is with your words?! Don't know if you need some "chocolate in your peanut butter" or "you want to chew on a chocolate or vanilla bar" Definitely some major frustration and emotional needs not getting met there!
