Fans of the woman who was the talk of Hollywood in the 80s and 90s know she'll bounce back. In fact, she's already started. Demi's got her directorial debut in "Five," a movie that showcases five stories about breast cancer. The film is co-directed with Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Keys, Patty Jenkins and Penelope Spheeris. The stunning actress will also appear in "LOL: Laughing Out Loud" with Miley Cyrus.
Let's look back at some of the "LOL" stars best solo moments during the past recent months:
The 49-year-old appears on the cover of Glamour magazine with Jennifer Aniston and Alicia Keys looking like the A-lister we've come to love. Dressed in a white top and blue jeans, she promotes "Five" for a cause she's come to appreciate.
"I think that so often there is that 'out of sight, out of mind' feeling, like breast cancer is happening to other people, not you. Before this project came up, even I really didn't want to pay attention. I feel that this came to me to make me pay attention," said Moore.
The actress was all smiles at Variety's 3rd Annual Power Of Women Luncheon. Demi wore a pale pink dress designed by Victoria Beckham, along with sandals by Alexandre Birman. Her trademark long, dark hair cascaded down her shoulders in soft waves.
The woman who established her career back in 1985 starring as Jules in "St. Elmo's Fire" has been acting in independent films recently. She appears in "Margin Call," also starring Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany and Jeremy Irons. The soon to be ex-Mrs. Kutcher walked the red carpet without her husband, although she did wear her wedding ring. She looked thinner than usual in a skin-tight, Zac Posen, red leopard print dress. However, despite the stress of her troubled marriage, her positive outlook shined.
"She seemed in a decent mood though, even a little happy to be there," said an observer.
