Following reports that Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital to "seek professional help," she has now pulled out of Lovelace, the biopic she was slated to star in, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Moore — whose split from Ashton Kutcher became a tabloid sensation — had been cast to play author/feminist Gloria Steinem. The film, set in the 1970s, follows the life of porn star Linda Lovelace, who will be played by Amanda Seyfried. Adam Brody and Sharon Stone are also set to star.

"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health," a rep for the actress said in a statement. "She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."
