Jesse Csincsak and Deanna Pappas arrive at the 2008 World Magic Awards on October 11, 2008 in Los Angeles, CA.Us Magazine
Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas is bouncing back from her recent split from fiance Jesse Csincsak.
Remember all these Bachelor splits? On Tuesday, the former bride-to-be - and new host of Lifetime's
Get Married - blogged:
"Many of you may know me from seeing me on television looking for love. The first show, everyone saw me get publicly rejected by a man that I was in love with. The second show, many of you watched as I got down to one man...he got down on one knee and proposed to me. Although at the time, I believed that would be my happily ever after, unfortunately we have since gone our separate ways but still remain very good friends.
"He is a wonderful man and will make some woman very happy one day. As for me, I still VERY much want to be in love, GET MARRIED, and start a family of my own. I still have faith...I am being led to the person I am meant to be with!"
Pappas admits she loves the idea of being in love.
"From my early childhood, I loved the idea of falling in love, getting to wear a beautiful white gown and wearing a sparkling ring," she wrote. "I played dress up, turning even the most mundane blanket into a veil and sang my little heart out to the infamous nursery rhyme: 'First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes'"
Read her entire blog entry.Meanwhile, the couple's website - where they announced their original May 2009 wedding date - has been changed to feature just Csincsak's promotional appearances.
Csincsak told
Extra he still keeps in touch with his ex via text message, although they're giving each other space to heal.
"I've never been in love before until this, so this was big for me to go on there [the show] and put it out to the public," he said. "I was never the guy that showed my affections to anybody right off the bat to begin with and then to do it on TV was like, 'Whoa.'"
But just because he was burned doesn't mean he wouldn't do the show again.
"If
The Bachelor was offered to me, I definitely would have to consider it for sure," he says.
