Dave Matthews Band Saxophonist Dies

LeRoi Moore, the saxophonist for the Dave Matthews Band, died at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in L.A. Tuesday.

The 46-year-old died "from sudden complications stemming from his June ATV accident on his farm near Charlottesville, Virginia," his rep said in a statement to Usmagazine.com.

TMZ.com reported that he had punctured his lung and suffered broken ribs from the accident.

Moore was an original member of the band.

The band will perform as scheduled tonight at the Staples Center in L.A., according to TMZ.
