Dane Cook's half brother -- who was also his business manager -- has pled not guilty to stealing millions of dollars from the comedian, and is being held on $3 million bail, the Associated Press reports.
Darryl McCauley was arraigned Wednesday on three counts of larceny and forgery. Massachusetts State Police authorities allege Cook's brother forged a $3 million check and deposited it in his account -- while being paid $12,500 a month as his manager.
Cook's lawyer, Joseph Zwicker, said Cook is "very distraught" about the situation. McCauley's attorney, Robert Goldstein, called his client is innocent.
"Mr. McCauley denies taking money from his brother without his consent," he said. "He's ready to confront these allegations."
