'Dancing's' Derek Hough Taken To Hospital; Will Appear On Results Show

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- "Dancing With the Stars" professional dancer Derek Hough was hospitalized in Los Angeles, earlier today.

Hough, who joined the cast of the show last season, pulled a muscle in his neck, a spokesperson for ABC confirmed to Access Hollywood.

The blond twenty-something, brother of two-time "Dancing" champ Julianne Hough, was taken to the hospital "just as a precaution" the ABC rep said.

Hough has been dancing this season with partner, actress Shannon Elizabeth, and he will appear at her side for the results show tonight, the rep confirmed.

The couple danced the jive on Monday night, netting their highest score of the season - a 24 out of 30.
