Only in their dreams!
With Season 17 of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" set to debut its new, single-night format in September, the show's professional dancers are talking partners. Check out who's on the "DWTS" pros' wish lists.
Cheryl Burke is still close to former partners Emmitt Smith and Rob Kardashian. In fact, she told Hollywood Life she may even turn up on Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner's new talk show to do "something special that involves Rob."
But what about her next partner on the popular ABC dance competition? Believe it or not, Burke says she'd choose to cha cha with Former President Bill Clinton.
"I mean, I think he would be an amazing part of the cast," she said. "I think people would love to see a different side of him and he has so much charisma and I think he would be a great addition to the show."
Australian dance pro Peta Murgatroyd has already won a mirrorball trophy during her short reign on the show, and she's ready for more. But who would she like to see by her side in the winner's circle? She told OK Magazine she'd love to dance with actor John Stamos.
"I think he would be amazing," she said. "He's got the acting ability, I think he'd be able to move and he's done theater so I think he could put on a really good show."
Hmm… Peta and fellow "DWTS" pro dancer Karina Smirnoff clearly have the same taste in men! Not only did they both date Maksim Chmerkovskiy, but they both dream of dancing with the former "Full House" star. In 2010, Smirnoff told People: "I have a wish to dance with John Stamos. I wanted him to be my celebrity partner… I am a workaholic and think he needs to dance with me. I love 12 to 14 hour days of dancing, and I want to do it with John. He could be a great dancer."
Val Chmerkovskiy has dreams for a DWTS partner and a leading lady. According to Enstarz, Maks's little brother recently dished on his dream acting role-as Christian Grey in the movie version of "50 Shades of Grey."
"I've read a few passages from the first book and thought it was pretty extreme, graphic writing, but to be honest, I'd be more comfortable in this role than some others," he revealed, adding, "I would be honored to play Christian. I could see myself opposite Rachel McAdams. This would be my version of The Notebook."
As for Val's dancing dreams, look no further than Beyonce.
"Clearly, Beyonce has great work ethic and that's what I'm looking for in a partner," he said. "I just want a partner who is willing to work and has a strong work ethic. You can be a supermodel, an actress, an athlete... but to be a good partner, you have to be willing to put in the work."
"I think she's cute, I think she's funny," he previously said of the former "Friends" star. "She's just so sweet and so nice. I met her once, and she was very, very lovely. I should've said, 'You should do 'Dancing With the Stars!' But I didn't."
"Dancing With the Stars" Season 17 premieres this fall on ABC.
