Country Music Legend Randy Travis Drunk in Public - Other Stars with Booze-Fueled Legal Drama

Singer Randy Travis was recently arrested for public intoxication.

Country music legend Randy Travis might be the last person you'd expect to be picked up on alcohol-related charges. Over Super Bowl weekend though, that's exactly what happened. According to police reports, an officer in Sanger, Texas found Randy early Monday morning in parked truck with an open bottle of wine. The 52-year-old country legend was arrested for public intoxication, which in the county he was arrested in is a misdemeanor with a fine of up to $500.

Hooch has certainly gotten its fair share of celebrities in trouble. Whether it be a booze-fueled bar brawl, or an arrest for DUI, plenty of stars have had to face a judge as the result of alcohol-related antics. Sometimes the consequences of their actions can be pretty severe as well. Here now are some other stars who've had recent issues with liquor.

Lindsay Lohan - Though it seems LiLo's career issues may in fact be hitting her rear-view mirror, it has been a long climb back to relevance since her 2007 arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. The resulting legal fights have caused her to be forced into working at a morgue in Los Angeles County and she's had to spend a few nights in jail as well.

Amy Winehouse - Maybe the most recent reminder of what the tragic effects of alcohol abuse really are, the 27-year-old singer fought her addictions to alcohol and drugs famously. Her most popular song in fact was "Rehab," a track that insisted that the singer would never get professional help for her problems. Sadly, her fight against alcohol dependency got the best of her, as she died of accidental alcohol poisoning last July.

Shia LaBeouf - Last year the "Transformers" star got in a bar brawl in Vancouver that resulted in him getting knocked around. Unfortunately for Shia, the street fight got caught on tape, so the world knew pretty quickly that he'd been involved in the drunken scuffle. This was also not his first alcohol-related incident. In 2008 he was arrested for misdemeanor drunk driving.

Glen Campbell - Randy Travis is certainly not the first country star to be busted for alcohol related offenses. Glen Campbell has been arrested in Arizona twice on DUI charges. In 2003 he was arrested for DUI and aggravated assault. Then in 2008 the Rhinestone Cowboy was sentenced to 10 days in jail for DUI and fleeing the scene of an accident.
