Dr. Dre's 20-year-old son died in August due to a drug overdose, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office confirmed to Usmagazine.com Friday.

"Andre Young Jr.'s death has been ruled as an accident due to morphine and heroin intoxication," media officer Ed Winter told Us.

Young was discovered in his bed at 10:30 a.m. August 23 by his mother, who attempted to wake him, the coroner's spokesperson told MTV News three days after his death.

Young was unresponsive, so she called paramedics, who responded to the scene.

Efforts to revive him failed, and he was pronounced dead.

According to the coroner's spokesperson, Young had spent the previous evening with friends.

His mother told police that he'd returned home Saturday around 5:30 a.m., and that she'd heard him in his bedroom.

Police said they did not suspect foul play.

"Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr," his rep said in a statement to MTV in August. "Please respect his family's grief and privacy at this time."

Remember the stars who died in 2008.

There's been enough loss to last me a lifetime, and I'm only 32. Blessings to all, peace be with you, and if you believe in divine assastance, I hope you recieve it. I will include you all in my prayers, save the

sAD VERY SAD .... that people search for happiness and relief from emotional pain when the answers are always within the person ..not from some other person or drug Happiness is a decision that we make and involves a life time of making these decisions . If we have areas of need they can never be filled with any substance the more you try and fill the empty places the larger the hole .
