It's official: Emily Maynard is getting her second shot at love on The Bachelorette!
One week after Us Weekly broke the news that the 25-year-old single mom would be following in the footsteps of Ashley Hebert, the network confirmed her hiring Tuesday.

Maynard -- who endured a nasty split with Bachelor Brad Womack in the summer of 2011 -- will begin filming in March, a source recently told Us. "She's looking for a man -- not a little boy."

The West Virginia native -- who now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her 6-year-old daughter Ricki -- was previously engaged to NASCAR driver and team owner Ricky Hendrick. He died in a plane crash in October 2004 while Maynard was pregnant.
