Conan O'Brien's first guest on his debut of The Tonight Show will be the same person who helped usher the host out of his Late Night gig.

Will Ferrell will be the first guest to sit on O'Brien's couch when he takes over for Jay Leno on June 1.

Ferrell joined O'Brien in February for his final Late Night show in NYC.

Also there to kick of O'Brien's tenure on Tonight in L.A. will be Pearl Jam.

The band will play songs from an upcoming studio album, NBC said Monday.

O'Brien, who was the dominant late-night host at 12:35 a.m. for 14 seasons, was recently replaced by Jimmy Fallon.
