It's a boy for Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy!
The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Cyrus Michael Christopher, on Monday, December 17. The proud father shared the news, saying "Mother and baby are well, healthy, and happy....Together we send our love to you all."
Danes, 33, took home the 2012 Best Actress Emmy for her performance in the Golden Globe-nominated series, "Homeland." Dancy, 37, is a British actor and model who recently appeared in the films "Hysteria" and "Martha Marcy May Marlene." The pair met on the set of their 2006 film, "Evening," and they tied the knot in France in 2009.
Claire and Hugh aren't the only celebs who welcomed babies this week. Here's a look at some other high-profile stars who got early Christmas presents from the stork.
"30 Rock" and "X-Men" star James Marsden has welcomed a baby boy with ex-girlfriend Rose Costa. William Luca Costa-Marsden arrived on Friday, December 14, in Los Angeles. This is the third child for Marsden, who has two children - Jack (11) and Mary (6) - with ex-wife Lisa Linde. The 39-year-old actor dated Costa very briefly following his September 2011 divorce from Linde, whom he married in 2000.
Samaire Armstrong
Actress Samaire Armstrong, best known for her roles in "The O.C." and "The Mentalist," has given birth to her first child. Though she announced her pregnancy in October, the 32-year-old has been mum on the identity of the baby's father. She did share a Facebook picture of her baby boy, Calin Armstrong Christopher, with a man tagged "Jason Christopher," so we're guessing the handsome fellow is the baby's papa.
Jeffrey Donovan
It's a girl for "Burn Notice" star Jeffrey Donovan! The actor's rep confirmed that he and wife Michelle Woods have welcomed their first child - a girl - though no further details were available. The 44-year-old proposed to Woods in June, and the couple apparently married sometime this fall. His "Burn Notice" co-star Gabrielle Anwar weighed in on Donovan's big year, saying "He recently got married and I believe his wife had a baby within the last week....So, I think he's changed considerably from the young party boy that I met during the pilot."
