Cindy Crawford's Husband Sued Over Sexual Harassment Claims

SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Rande Gerber , the husband of supermodel Cindy Crawford , is one of several people and companies which have been named in a lawsuit by two women suing for sexual harassment.

The plaintiffs, who claim to be former workers for Gerber Bars and Gerber Entities, claim in their lawsuit that they were "subjected to quid pro quo sexual harassment at the hands of their supervisors... and a sexually hostile work environment."

In the lawsuit, filed in San Diego last month, and obtained by Access Hollywood, the women claim their work environment became "abusive" due to the alleged sexual harassment.

The women claim they complained to the Gerber Group's human resources, but the department "continually refused to acknowledge that such practices were occurring at the Gerber bars."

On Friday afternoon, a rep for Gerber said the allegations were "baseless."

"These allegations were previously investigated and shown to be baseless," a rep for the businessman told TMZ. "This lawsuit has no merit."

Why can't their account be true? Rampant harrassment at a work place is different than a single complaint. No good lawyer would take a case to court of this scale that is unfounded and that they know they can not win. Sexual Harrassment in the workplace was a real serious and widespread problem, which like racism has largely been stamped out. If there are pockets remaining they must be eli

It says they were former employees.Could this be retaliation for being fired? I hope not.It makes things tough for those who are truly being harrassed.I will say also with them working in a bar environment with a lot of drinking going on they heard a lot from customers.I think we all know that drunks can talk some crap.

you down, the retribution against the one who turns you down is the harrsassment not the initial "hit on". it's ok to hit on people, just give up gracefully if they don't return the affection
