Christina Aguilera is in the headlines again for another fashion faux pas. The pop singer may need to hire someone to help her get it together, at least when it comes to what she's wearing and how she accessorizes her look.
While the 31-year-old performed at the funeral for the legendary singer Etta James, she was apparently so nervous that the sweat on her body caused her fake spray tan to run down her leg. Christina was said to have "sang her heart out," and it's just unfortunate that instead of talking about an amazing performance, everyone is talking about the fake tan lines.
Can you blame her for the latest malfunction? She was clearly red-faced and was said to subtly try and wipe her legs with the sleeve of her jacket right before she began to sing. We think she should be forgiven for this latest incident, but clearly, she has had quite a few issues when it comes to her appearance recently.
At the American Music Awards just before Thanksgiving, Aguilera came out wearing a tiny bandage dress. It looked like she'd burst out any minute, and it was far from flattering on her fuller figure. Her beautiful voice was overshadowed by what she was wearing, causing pregnancy rumors to spark like wildfire across the web.
The "Genie in a Bottle" singer's outfit at the Michael Jackson tribute back in October may have been the worst of all. She came out onto the stage wearing a skimpy corset with black fishnet stockings along with ridiculously bad hair in a matted mess, and makeup that was way over the top.
Even if the blonde star wasn't a little overweight it wouldn't have been very flattering, but after putting on a few pounds, it was far worse. She was criticized by more than a few, including Kelly Osborne who remarked, " She called me fat for years. I was never that fat."
Kelly's co-host, Joan Rivers commented, "Lady Marmalade got into the peanut butter again."
We think perhaps it's time the singer with the incredible voice spends a little cash on some makeup and wardrobe advice. Maybe she should be considered for the TLC network show, "What Not to Wear?"
