Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook have not reached a settlement in their ongoing divorce battle.
Both sides met behind closed doors Wednesday to try to resolve custody disputes but returned to the courtroom later in the day, according to the
New York Post.
Details of those talks are unknown.
Asked earlier if the day if a settlement, Brinkley, 54, pressed her palms together and told reporters, "It's what I hope and pray for," the
Post reports.

On Wednesday morning, two of Brinkley's former colleagues testified that she always put her children before her work.
An agent said she even turned down two offers to appear in
French Vogue this year alone so she could stay at home with the kids, according to the
Post.
Four additional witnesses are expected to testify today.
Brinkley and Cook, 49, are currently fighting for custody of their children, Jack, 13, and Sailor, 10.
On Tuesday, a court-appointed psychologist testified that Brinkley
deserved full custody because Cook's narcissism "could cause harm" to their children.
The doctor also said that Brinkley (who has wed four different guys) needed "to start working on deeper issues," including "her choice of male figures."
