Chris Brown is being sued by a photographer who claims the singer was involved in a violent incident in March, Usmagazine.com confirmed Wednesday.
See photos of stars in court.Robert Rosen is suing Brown and the L.A. Fitness gym for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment.
Brown was playing basketball at the gym's court in Los Angeles, and when Rosen -- a member of the fitness center -- tried to take photos, he said that Brown's bodyguards "shook me with incredible force," according to TMZ.com.

The photographer sued
Pierce Brosnan in late 2007 after the actor allegedly struck him in the chest in Malibu. According to Rosen at the time, Brosnan caused him "severe physical and emotional pain and injuries, including bruised ribs," the Associated Press reported. The charges against the actor were ultimately dismissed.
Rosen filed in his most recent lawsuit that the incident with Brown occurred just a few weeks after he was arrested for allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend,
Rihanna. (He pleaded not guilty at his April arraignment.)
Earlier today, Brown insisted he wasn't a bad guy in an
online video.
"Everybody that's haters, they just been haters," he said. "All my real fans, I love you. I ain't a monster!"
Mark Geragos, the attorney for Brown, told Us Wednesday that the suit has no merit.
"This is a specious and frivolous lawsuit by one of the paparazzi seeking publicity and a payday," Geragos said. "[Rosen] has done this before and lost. We will vigorously defend against this."
