LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Chris Brown has been ordered to not have any contact with Rihanna for five years as part of his probation for assaulting the "Russian Roulette" singer, but that hasn't stopped Chris from remembering their better days on Twitter.

On Sunday, the R&B singer posted a link to a YouTube user-created video, set to the tune of R. Kelly's "The Way We Used to Be," of the former couple prior to the February 8 assault, which led to Chris being sentenced to five years probation, 180 days of community labor and 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling.

"IM SORRY YALL. JUST HAD TO POST IT," Chris said in a Tweet with a link to the video.

"FOR THE FELLAS: showing emotion doesn't make u weak," he wrote in another Twitter post. "BEING HONEST MAKES U STRONG."

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Chris opened up about the assault last week during an interview with New York radio station Hot 97's Angie Martinez.

"I'm human. If people feel a certain way, I'm not going to say they're wrong. But it's not right to judge somebody when people make mistakes all the time," Chris said during the interview. "I've learned from my mistakes and I'm learning from them. And I regret every moment, every second of it."

The star admitted he knew he'd "let a lot of people down."

"I won't let you down anymore," he said, addressing his fans. "That was one of the most embarrassing things for me, because of my image and who I was as a young role model to a lot of kids. It was hard for me."

In more Chris news, the singer announced the release date of his new album,"Graffiti," writing, "OFFICIAL ALBUM DATE: DECEMBER 15... GRAFFITI... NOW BLOG ABOUT THIS..LOL"

And in Rihanna news, it was announced on Monday that the pop star would perform on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas - the world's largest cruise ship - on November 19.

Nobody's keeping track of the two of them when they leave the country; I imagine she meets him off-shore for a shag now and again where the courts have no jurisdiction...tough to let go of an enabling-dependency that quick.
