Not ready yet to retire in Florida and rinse her hair blue, Cher could be the next celeb to marry a man young enough to be her son.
The National Enquirer is reporting the 66-year-old is planning to take a road trip west with her biker boyfriend Tim Medvetz this fall and wed him in wild Las Vegas.
The "If You Could Turn Back Time" singer is 24 years older than her 6-foot-5 inch honey. The mountain climber was still in diapers when Cher starred with her first husband on the "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour."
Cher has a history of robbing the cradle when it comes to romance. In the late 80s, after a short fling with Tom Cruise, she dated 20-something bagel shop worker Rob Camilletti who parlayed his connection with the megastar into a modest acting career playing bit parts like deliverymen.
The "Moonstruck" star's relationship with her motorcycle riding Romeo was rumored to be leading to marriage back in 2008 before the two broke it off. The mom of two was reportedly talked into rekindling the romance by Chaz Bono.
According to a source, Cher's daughter-turned-son from her marriage to the late Sonny Bono told her, "'Mom, get a life! Go back to Tim!'"
If anyone can keep up with a much younger man it's Cher, whose surgically rejuvenated face matches her youthful joie de vivre. Even her Twitter feed looks more like that of a teenager than tottering senior. Today, for instance, she tweeted, "Adam just left, now got 2get up Dry brush,go down 2 gym W/Rebecca & work out! Just got both Pink Songs i think they're really great!"
Alas, not all May-December romances in which the woman is the December work out in the long run.
Most notably, actress Demi Moore split from husband Ashton Kutcher last fall after the latter was caught cheating with a hotel party girl. Since then the "Ghost" actress has had trouble retaining the loyalty of her own daughters who are closer to the age of her ex.
Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins seemed like a model older woman-younger man couple for many moons. The lovebirds whistled a happy tune for 23 years without getting married, so at least they didn't have to go through a messy divorce when the relationship went south.
