Charlie Sheen: I Was In Denial - NOT Winning!

As Charlie Sheen gets ready for the launch of his new comedy series Anger Management on FX later this month, he's reflecting on his tumultuous past and admitting that his bizarre behavior in recent years was anything but "winning."

On walking away from his hit CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men and having a bizarre public meltdown, Sheen tells the latest edition of Rolling Stone on newsstands Friday: "Clearly, a guy gets fired, his relationships are in the toilet, he's off on some fucking tour, there's nothing 'winning' about any of that. I mean, how does a guy who's obviously quick sanded, how does he consider any of it a victory? I was in total denial."

Sheen also speaks candidly about his admitted bouts of falling off the wagon: "I mean, the shit works. Sorry, but it works. Anyway, I don't see what's wrong with a few drinks. What's your drink? Tequila? Mine's vodka. Straight, because I've always said that ice is for injuries, ha ha."

His ex-wife Denise Richards also speaks to the magazine about the couple's mended relationship. "He and I are like best friends now -- confidants. He tells me everything." Adds Sheen, "And we sleep in separate rooms. Everybody's going to want to know that, too."
