Channing Tatum might be stripped most of his clothes off for the upcoming film "Magic Mike," but his role in the upcoming romantic comedy "The Vow" isn't about gratuitous nudity.
That didn't stop Tatum from playing a gigantic joke on co-star Rachel McAdams.
"Channing got the props department to make a prosthetic, um, member," the 33-year-old actress told U.K. magazine Stella about their nude scene in the film. "Literally a fake penis. I didn't know what to do -- I thought, 'Is that the real deal?' It was very realistic. It was ridiculous, the scale of it!"
It was a prank, but Tatum tried to counter that it was a method to get an honest reaction from her during the scene.
"I made sure that I had [a prosthetic] that was down to my shin and that take is in the movie," he told Access Hollywood of his plastic pee pee.
Celebrities are known for their on-set pranks to break up the boredom and monotony that comes with film production. What other classic pranks have stars pulled on each other?
Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill
Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill are co-stars in the Oscar-nominated film "Moneyball," but we think Pitt should get an awards nod for his prank on Hill. The actor revealed to Ann Curry on the "Today Show" that he jacked up Hill's go-cart to annoying levels.
"I had Jonah's cart rigged. Whenever he turned it on it would blast Wake me up Before you Go-go. ... It was pretty good, I gotta say," he joked.
That wasn't all, according to the svelte Hill. He said Pitt added pink shrink wrap, a photo of George Michael and other decorations to his cart, much to his dismay.
"I call him the Bobby Fisher of pranks," Hill deadpanned. "He's three moves ahead of you at all times."
Pitt likely learned everything he knows from the king of pranks, George Clooney. The two constantly played pranks on one another during filming the "Ocean's 11" series.
Taylor Swift and Keith Urban
Taylor Swift is about as sweet as they come, but she managed to get a little wicked on fellow country star Keith Urban during a 2009 concert in Kansas City. Swift was supposed to come on stage and sing "Kiss a Girl" with Urban - and she did, in full KISS makeup.
"Pranking is a must. How about rushing his stage during 'Kiss a Girl' dressed like this? It went down," she tweeted of the prank.
And Urban loved it.
Justin Bieber and Akon
Justin Bieber is one mischievous little teen - and he took out that playfulness on Akon in 2010. The Biebs stole Akon's number from the phone of his manager, Scooter Braun. He then called the Africa-born singer and claimed he was his illegitimate son.
"He was like, 'Daddy, why don't you love me?' It really scared the (expletive) out of Akon!" Braun recalled.
