Channing Tatum is one actor we aren't ashamed to admit is totally swoon-worthy. The hunky actor has played in movies including "Dear John," "The Dilemma," and "Fighting" but if you think this beefcake is all muscle and no acting, think again. This star is warming up on the red carpet for the major roles he plays on the big screen in 2012.
At the Golden Globes on Sunday Channing looked absolutely dapper as he attended the awards event with his gorgeous wife Jenna Dewan. The two looked the part of the perfect Hollywood couple. Let's take a look at his upcoming roles.
Get your Kleenex ready. "The Vow" hits theaters just in time for Valentine's Day and Channing plays the loving husband of a woman who loses her memory after a car accident. Channing's character must get his wife to fall in love with him all over again. Ahh, sappy we know, but we can guarantee there will be tons of shirtless scenes with this hottie.
Director Steven Soderbergh is known for his risque choice in films including movies like "The Girlfriend Experience" so we were surprised to hear that Channing would be starring in his next movie, "Magic Mike." In the film Channing plays the lead character who works as a stripper and is taken under the wing of his more experienced colleagues in the business. Other Hollywood stars including Matthew McConaughey will be in the film. Will this be a full frontal for Channing? This movie is set for release in June of this year.
In the spring Channing will star alongside funny man Jonah Hill in "21 Jumpstreet," about a duo of underachieving cops who are sent back to highschool to try and crack down on a local drug ring. Channing's role is a little different in this movie letting people finally see his funny and silly side.
In 2013 Channing will be co-leading the movie "Foxcatcher" with "The Office" funnyman Steve Carrell. This is one movie that won't have anyone laughing though, the drama is based on the story about John du Pont, the man who killed Olympic wrestler David Schultz and suffered from paranoid schizophrenia. Channing will play the Olympic wrestler while Steve will channel his inner serious side as he plays John du Pont.
