Channing Tatum's smooth moves from "Magic Mike" have reportedly earned him the title of Sexiest Man Alive.

It's not hard to see why allegedly People is planning to honor him as the hottest hunk in Hollywood on November 14 -- the beefcake teddy bear seems like a swell guy, and he certainly knows a lot about being sexy after working as a male stripper and playing one in a movie. Channing is probably very relieved that his days of dressing like a clown and dancing for crumpled dollar bills are over.

However, while Channing's success story and his buff bod are impressive, there are a few other guys that People could have picked for its Sexiest Man Alive. Here's a look at four better options:

Robert Pattinson

Rob might seem like a boring pick since his face is everywhere these days, but he deserves the honor after enduring Kristen Stewart's cheating and starring in all of the "Twilight" movies. The timing of giving him the title would be perfect publicity-wise since the final film in the "Twilight" franchise hits theaters this month, and Twihards will be able dry their tears on the pages of Rob's People issue. You've also got to love the guy for all of his sexy interviews about vampire intercourse - he says vampire-on-vampire sex is a "third form of sexuality."

Matt Bomer

Channing's "Magic Mike" costar proved that plastic really is fantastic by playing a living Ken doll. Matt might not have a movie to promote right now, but the "White Collar" star is one of the fan favorites for the highly-anticipated "50 Shades of Grey" film. And isn't it about time that People picked a gorgeous gay actor as its Sexiest Man Alive? Matt also earns a few extra points for being a great dad - he and his partner Simon Halls are the proud parents of three very stylish sons.

Ryan Gosling

Ryan is another actor whose name has been attached to the "50 Shades of Grey" movie, and just like Matt, the "Drive" star has a fiercely-loyal fan following. In fact, last year a group of his fans gathered to protest outside the headquarters of People when Bradley Cooper was named Sexiest Man Alive. You better get those "Hey, Girl" signs ready again, gals.
