They are in there OWN MOMENT!! They became famous because they are good at something...NOT to be a spokesperson!! So to ALL who say Adam was supposed to set an example, Who nominated YOU to giv

To error is human to forgive is divine and to judge is just showing how unhappy you are with your own life. I'm sure your perfect and have never made a mistake but DJ AM was a genius who had some issue like many of us. So many of his fans are hurting, how about some respect for your fellow humans in their moment of mourning.

Impressionable people trying to overcome their addictions were looking to him as an example and support. Unfortunately, that can no longer be. And his death may be the difference between them holding onto or losing hope that things can get better. Oh, BTW. He did not treat his addiction to food and lose weight... he had surgery. That's not the same.

As a person who has been in recovery from drugs and alcohol for a few years now, my sympathy and condolences go out to Adam and his family and friends. However, there is a solution to the difficulties that he was apparently trying to face on his own. He had also taken the responsibility of helping others to face and overcome their addictions in the public eye, and that means he was an example.
