LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- From Michael and Lindsay Lohan's war of words to Carl Blonsky's fistfight in a Turks and Caicos airport, parents of celebrities are making headlines almost as often as their famous offspring. Here are five of the most notorious.

Michael Lohan

Lindsay Lohan's father is nothing if not outspoken, granting recent interviews regarding the state of his beleaguered daughter to such outlets as ABC News, E! and OK! as well as Access Hollywood. Earlier this year, he came under fire for possibly fathering a secret daughter while separated from now ex-wife Dina - his paternity has yet to be resolved. Most recently, he earned LiLo's ire after he went after close companion Samantha Ronson, telling Access' Billy Bush on Thursday that Samantha was "toxic."

Bob Duff

Bob Duff, father of Hilary and Haylie, earned himself 10 days in jail on Wednesday for contempt of court, according to the Associated Press. He violated an injunction against selling assets without court approval - a stipulation in the bitter divorce proceedings between him and wife Susan Duff. The judge determined that Bob must pay into a court repository $367,537 he earned from the sale of stock, as well as $12,500 to Susan to pay for Hilary's birthday party. The singer-actress turns 21 on Sept. 28.

Carl Blonsky

Both "Hairspray" star Nikki Blonsky and her father, Carl, were involved in an airport brawl in Turks and Caicos with former "America's Next Top Model" contender Bianca Golden and her mother, Elaine. The fight found Elaine airlifted to a Miami hospital due to head injuries sustained during the brawl, while Nikki, Carl and Bianca were all arrested and charged.

The fightin' mad dad's lawyer, Michael Griffith, claimed to Access that Bianca was to blame, starting the fight by allegedly calling Nikki a "white b****" while another reported source claimed that it was the Blonsky family that had used racial slurs. Nikki alleged that Bianca punched her four times in the side of the head. Griffith told Access that Carl intends to go to trial and will return to court with daughter Nikki on December 1 for his trial date. He was released on a $3000 cash bail after pleading not guilty to grevious bodily harm, which carries a maximum punishment of five years.

Alan Panettiere

The father of "Heroes" cheerleader Hayden Panettiere entered the public eye on August 11, 2008, when he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife, Lesley. Lesley Panettiere called authorities after Alan allegedly hit her on the cheek more than once, after the couple had come home from a party - a charitable event hosted by their daughter -- a Sheriff's Department spokesperson previously told Access. Alan Panettiere was released the following morning on bail. Later the same day, he was photographed walking a dog with his wife. No charges have been filed.

Linda Hogan

The embattled Hogan family has had a number of troubles - Linda's estrangement from husband Hulk Hogan, son Nick's time in jail due to charges stemming from a 2007 car accident, very public disputes on the family reality show, "Hogan Knows Best" - but cougar Linda has made the best of them, stepping out with a 19-year-old boyfriend. Charlie Hill, Linda's new flame, went to grade school with Nick and daughter Brooke. Of their romance, Brooke told E!, "I'm totally freaked out. I personally don't like it all or condone it."

How it happens, Marrige-KIds-problems-Divorce, way it goes for around 50% of the population. Social mobility in the 21st century isn't what it was in the 12th. Careful consideration at the outset, best for all concerned and all to be.

People are so busy nowadays, worrying and fearing what's next. STOP! Think about what you can do to help others that don't have it as good as you do. What have you done lately to "Pay-it-forward" like the book "21 Days To Creating Your Dream Life" talks about? Try doing one thing every week, eventually everyday, to change the perceptions of h

These people who are so quick to whore out their children so that they can satisfy their own selfish desire for fame and fortune are DISGUSTING and they should be ASHAMED of themselves. There should be a law that requires people to pass parenting classes before they are allowed to have kids.
