Halle Berry certainly had the worst Thanksgiving ever. Gabriel Aubry, the father of her beautiful daughter, Nahla, allegedly caused a fracas at her home. Aubry showed up at the residence that Berry shares with her fiance Olivier Martinez to drop off their 4-year-old daughter. A fist fight ensued and both men were hospitalized. Although Martinez is 46 and Aubry is ten years younger at 36, it appears from photos that Martinez may have gotten the best of him. Gabriel was treated for a broken rib and facial contusions while Olivier was possibly treated for a broken hand.
So, while Halle's men were resting up, how did other famous folks celebrate Turkey Day? Well, celebrities are just like the rest of us on the holidays! They're eating great food, spending time with family, facing awkward exchanges, dealing with breakups and posting tweets and photos about it.
Katie's divorce from "Top Gun" hubbie Tom Cruise made waves this year. Since the split, Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise have been living the "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" life in NYC. The first holidays after a breakup are always challenging. Suri spent the day with her dad in London. Take heart in the fact that Katie didn't stay home alone. The actress told Jimmy Fallon that she would be spending the holiday in Ohio with her family.
Perhaps Jennie and Katie should have spent the holiday together. The two former teen stars could certainly relate to each other's challenges. Garth spent her first post-divorce holiday without her three daughters. Luca, Lola and Fiona spent the day with their dad, Peter Facinelli, of "Twilight" fame. Don't cry for Jennie though; she celebrated the holiday with her daughters two days later.
Fans might expect Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon to have a Thanksgiving prepped by a celebrity chef. Instead, Mariah tweeted a loving picture of Nick wearing an apron as the two prepared the meal the night before. Of course the photogenic couple spent the day with "Dem Babies," their gorgeous twins, Monroe & Moroccan.
Klum certainly isn't glum during her first holiday season without Seal. Heidi posted a picture on Twitter of her divine turkey with the word "Finally!" She then tweeted a photo of her hiking with her two dogs. In the follow up tweet she said that she was "burning off... the Thanksgiving turkey." In addition to Thanksgiving, the supermodel and mogul was also celebrating her son Johan's birthday.
The stars certainly enjoyed the day of gratitude. How was your "thank you" day?
