Christina who? Kelly Clarkson took center stage before Super Bowl XLVI to perform the National Anthem. The result? She did an amazing job!
The former "American Idol" winner, wearing some blunt bangs, sang through the song without a hitch, unlike Aguilera's performance last year. We couldn't tell, but the singer later revealed she was absolutely terrified.
"Guess what ....I've never been more nervous in my life than singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl tonight ....wow that was almost not fun I was so nervous! Fun night overall though! Thank you everybody for all of the nice things you're saying about my performance! I really appreciate it :)" she wrote on her WhoSay page.
She had to jet off right after the game to her next concert date and was met with a sweet gift from her band and crew.
"So after the Super Bowl tonight I had to fly to San Antonio because we have a show here tomorrow night and this is what I found on my bed waiting for me from my band and crew ....I'm a complete nerd and teared up ha! I love my road family!!" she later tweeted.
